FIRMS is our new generation of resources planning application. It stands for Fisheries Integrated Resources Management System, and aims to respond to the security and the compliance demands of the fisheries industry.
FIRMS is a complete suite of office tools running on both desktops and mobile devices with online capabilities. It is dedicated to manage, monitor, plan, share, and process marine living resources information.
An integrated vessels database and oceans map to monitor the maritime traffic
The database targets registered ships; small fishing vessels; but also recreational boats.
A tracking system to follow up vessels on their route from and to the ports
Geo-fence capabilities are also provided, meaning virtual boundaries can be set up and notification emails or SMS can be sent to the fisheries centres anytime a vessel enters or exits a monitored perimeter.
